At Christmas the Student Council of Redruth School voted to commit to becoming a Plastic Free School. They have made the pledge to Surfers Against Sewage and are working through the requirements before obtaining plastic free status! 

As part of our commitment to achieve Plastic Free Community Status local businesses need to commit to making positive changes to remove single use plastics. So far Country Health Store, Greg and Lou’s, Hatters Coffee Shop, Artyzan, and Craft Collective are all supporting this initiative.
